The First Baptist Church dedicated their newly Renovated Youth Building on December 3, 2000.  The project included complete renovation and rebuilding the interior second floor children's department.  Included were new walls, ceilings and cabinets.  The 7,350 sf space includes new Class Rooms, Restrooms, and "Snack Bar".   The Windows were cleaned and covered with glass to preserve and prevent leakage.  The brick was cleaned and treated with special water preservatives.  Repairs were made to the wood columns, exterior trim, steeple, copper, etc.
